Washing your cloth diapers.

A lot have asked how I wash my diapers, And recently I’ve changed up my washing. And it’s been working great! So here is a little post on it ๐Ÿ™‚
Now this may not work for everyone. Everybody has their own way of washing! This is just what works for us ๐Ÿ™‚

(1) A Cold Wash.

For this I don’t use detergent.  You want the longest wash setting, and cold water. This is mainly just to get all of the gunk off of the diapers before washing them with detergent.

(2) Wash With Detergent.

After you’ve done a cold wash. You’ll want to change your settings to hot water and put your detergent in .This cycle is to really sanitizes the diapers.

(3) Another Rinse.

After you’ve washed in cold water and washed in hot water with detergent, You’ll want to do another rinse with no detergent to make sure you’ve gotten all the laundry soap out of your diapers.

(4) Hang Dry.

After the diapers are washed, youโ€™ll want to hang dry the diapers on aย drying rack inside or outside. Now you can throw the inserts into the dryer on low. But It isnโ€™t a good idea to dry your pocket covers because the elastics will wear down quicker. Now I have never put my inserts in the dryer. I always hang dry my diapers and inserts.

(5) Stains.

If your diapers or inserts have stain on them. And trust me they will get stains. DO NOT put stain stuff on them! Simply put your diapers outside in the sun and let the sun naturally bleach them! ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy washing! ๐Ÿ™‚
